The children are given a light snack during both the morning and afternoon, a cooked 2 course lunch is served at 12.30 and afternoon tea is at 4.30.
We have a closed door policy between 12.30pm – 1.30pm; this allows the children staying for lunch to have it as calmly as possible without any disruptions.
The lunch menu runs on a four week rota, allowing all children a variety of foods. We cater for all dietary needs; please discuss these with the nursery manager.
Staff always eat lunch with the children which encourage social interaction, table manners and gives the less confident eater support and encouragement.
