Provision of Quality Child Care and Education

The King's Day Nursery School is operated on a not-for-profit basis.

We provide lunch at-cost (sometimes below cost), from local, often organic ingredients.

The nursery is founded on Christian ethics, however, children are not 'indoctrinated' with the Christian faith. Most of the staff are simply excellent secular nursery nurses. Some Christian songs are sung, and children are presented with a children's bible when they leave.

The King's Day Nursery School offers much more than session based pre-schools. Only pay for the hours your child is with us, rather than an entire 'morning' or 'afternoon' session. All ages are welcome, with quality nappies provided if required.

To help in the current financial climate, The King's Day Nursery no longer charge a deposit to new customers, making it more affordable to start nursery school.

Child to staff ratios are taken seriously and never compromised.

King's Day Nursery has been established to provide effective childcare and education in the heart of Malmesbury.

The King’s Day Nursery School was established in September 1992 by The King’s Church, Malmesbury. The Nursery is registered as a Christian Day Nursery School with both OfSTED and the DCSF (Department for Children, Schools and Families), and operates an equal opportunities policy. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, which supports children to develop their personal, social, emotional and intellectual skills, through offering learning tailored for each child through play.
Each child attending The King’s Day Nursery School, is treated as an individual and are recognised as having their own physical, social, emotional, cultural, intellectual and language
needs. This is regardless of race, religion, physical ability, gender or culture. We operate a strong parents as partners approach to the child’s learning, and welcome your feedback on the service we provide.

Children can join King’s Day Nursery at any time throughout the year, depending on vacancies.
Prospective parents are invited call the nursery manager to arrange a full viewing of the nursery and to discuss your individual child’s care. All places are offered on a first come first served basis according to relevant ages and nursery unit spaces. Children with siblings already attending the nursery will be given priority when allocating spaces.
If suitable spaces are unavailable, your child will be placed on a waiting list.

If you would like to make an appointment to come along and view our nursery, we recommend viewing between 10:00am – 11:30am and 2:00pm – 3:30pm, which ensures that the nursery is viewed at its most productive with minimal disruption to the children.
To arrange a viewing please contact Caroline, our nursery manager: 01666 824987.

We would be delighted to meet with you to discuss your needs.
