Worship.

Worship, or 'Worth- giving' as one of our members calls it, is our correct response to God by His creation. We should live each day as an act of worship, and all we do should be motivated as a response to His great Love.

Sunday worship.
When many people discuss worship, they specifically mean the musical aspect of a church service. King's church is blessed in having many musicians, however the church is equally comfortable singing old hymns or modern choruses, with or without accompaniment.

Many consider a perfect, well polished performance to be the only correct and acceptable way to honour God in worship. However, from a biblical perspective, God examines a person's heart and motivations, rather than chord changes. King David was prepared to appear undignified in worship, and later, following the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the early church were mistaken as being drunk due to their unconventional behavior and speech.

Being a 'pentecostal church', we believe that The Lord has sent His Holy Spirit to the church to counsel us and enable us to bring Glory to Him. Worship, as Paul writes, should be ordered, not chaotic, however, there should be freedom to respond to the Living Spirit of God as He leads. In other words, it is about Him and our response to His Spirit, rather than us with our preferences and human traditions.
